…so I'm thinking of selling off all my stocks on Monday. Not that it's much. I'd net maybe $1200-$1400. Here's the deal: Motorola. Love their phones and radios. Bought their stock back when it was $33/sh and slowly climbing after their big bubble pop at $60ish/sh. Bought more every time they went down. They've stabilized at about $22/sh for the longest time now. Lots of investor advisors recommended them as a SELL for a while now.
Thing is, I could be putting the money that's just sitting there to better use. Pay off some debt, reduce interest payments, vehicle maintenance, etc. Maybe later on I can buy more stock. What I own now doesn't even feel like enough to matter.
Oh, and then there's the whole Sirius satellite radio stock. Man, they totally should NOT be paying Howard Stern $500 million for that deal! He hasn't even really helped the stock.
So… I've got to decide by Monday – though I'm really just stalling, because I pretty much already know I'm going to sell all of it.
…unless someone has advice otherwise… advice? anyone?…
